Felix Came Home !

Fortunately, Felix showed up tonight after 2 days on the loose.

We have no idea where he was or what he was doing but he is home safe and sound.

We will be keeping watch for others who still have a lost pet and hope they have the same good outcome.

Thanks everyone for watching for him.

He is now grounded for life !

Lost Tuxedo Cat - Felix

I find myself having to use my own service. Our tuxedo cat Felix apparently escaped sometime yesterday - Nov. 13th in the area of South Main St Sycamore.

He is a 3year old, neutered male. Shorthair - "Tuxedo" markings. All black with a white chest, chin and forehead and white paws.

He was wearing a yellow, rhinestone collar with a small bell on it.

He is friendly and sociable and may come to a whistle, but he is also easily frightened so he may be hiding.

Please call if you see him and we will come asap.

Thanks,

Nov 9 2009 White cat lost in Sycamoe

Kitty Photo

Description:
Our cat Piña disappeared from our house on November 9, 2009. She was lost on Chauncey St, off of Somonauk Rd. in Sycamore IL, near south east and south prairie elementary school. We are trying our best to find her, and if anyone has seen her please contact us directly at 630-926-0934 or 630-667-3711.

She is a white siamese cat, 1 1/2 years old. She has orange coloring on her ears and tail, and blue eyes. She has a small notch in her right ear, where a tiny piece is missing. She answers to Piña, and will come running if you say the word "food". She last had on a pink collar with purple heart tag, and has all claws. She needs medication, so it's important we find her soon!!

Tortie-Calico Kitty found north of Sycamore

This kitty has been seen for the past month or two in an area north of Sycamore on Lloyd road.

It appears to be a female - front declawed - medium haired with a fluffy tail.

She is being fed and sheltered now in a garage but appears a bit thin.
The photo was taken as she was walking into sunlight so her face is very bright and may not reflect the true facial coloring. It appears she has 3 or 4 white boots.

It is likely she was dumped here (as other cats have been dumped in rural areas by ignorant people) and as this is quite a ways north of of the city, most stray cats from within town would stay close where there are a number of feral colonies being fed by volunteers (I know - I am one of those colony maintainers).

If you recognize this cat please contact me as soon as possible so we can reconnect her/him with their owner.
Just click Post A Message and follow the directions to contact us.

I have messaged the poster to this board who has the lost Tortie female so hopefully we can make contact to see if this is their cat.

Remember - leave your email address and phone for quick contact and photo updates.

Thanks,
Angela - blog manager

Lost cat

I lost my cat today. We believe he got out threw the roof in our
attic. He's a rather large ( 14 lbs) cat with four socks a white
belly and two little spots under his nose ( a mustache) he also has
white whiskers. He is very sweet but a bit shy and probably wont go
right up to you. His name is mustachio. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Re: Grey-Blue Cat

Thanks for posting this Alex.

As the cat was found in May, where has he been kept up until now ?
I will pass the word on to everyone I know to see who may have lost him.

Unfortunately, that is the time of year when the University students dump a
lot of pets that they had during the year but can't return home with.
Sad, but true.

Thanks again.

Found-Russian Blue Grey Cat

Male, and definitely not neutered. Has all  of his claws. He was wearing a flea collar. The cat was found in the parking lot of Lowes, in Dekalb, Illinois, sometime in mid to late May of this year.  If you think this is your cat, email me at alexs0628@sbcglobal.net
